| Better? no, I've never said that once.
In answer to your question I was a very late developer physically. I was the second smallest person in my school year of which I was also the youngest and I still played service area. If I had my 6 inches and 5 1/2 stone now when most of the other kids developed then, who knows, its difficult getting to the top. Its why I maintain that many of the structures in junior rugby are just.. wrong, kids with ability are disgarded for 'the big kids' without a rugby brain far too young. I played enough to know that Ryan Atkins will never make a top class centre, I said it 2 years ago, I still maintain it. You did watch the 4 nations right? Embarrassing for the poor bloke. Great athlete, never a top class centre.
Matt Kings just.. slow. He got caught with a 7 yard start by Malcolm Alker for gods sakes

| At present the "bomb" caught on goal is a 20 mtr restart.
A grubber kick caught in goal and the ball catcher tackled it's a goal line drop out.
I'd make the two rules consistant.
Any kick caught in goal will be a 20 mtr restart.
The rule of the game, as has been said, just need adjusting from time to time. Not a drastic overhaul.
It's the competitions and competition rules that need an urgent overhaul.

pretty much what I said above.
You're either stupidly accurate with your kicks or need to use an attacking kick in the field of play. It would stop a lot of this extremely obvious last tackle play

Surely this contradicts your point of the 'Big Kids' getting picked, by saying that you'd only want a winger that has pace? I'd rather have a players sound in every department than sticking someone on the wing because he is fast?

| 1.I would like to see, when an attacking player is heald up over the line the advantage go to the defence. A scrum on the 22 (5 meters in )with he defence feed.
2. Competive scrumming, therefore removing the certainty of a scrum feed.

| Get rid of the flat pass, and enforce that all passes MUST go backwards.
That would even up super league and instantly make it more competative.
Not a rule change as such, but I think it is about time we tinkered with the video ref. At the moment it is simply too easy for the matchday ref to send decisions to the VR, without making a decision themselves. This often leads to the VR taking far too long to make a decision.
Before a ref is allowed to call for VR assistance, I would like to see them make a call of what the play was on the field ie try, no try, knock on etc, before sending it up stairs. Then, the video ref would simply have to look for sufficent evidence to over rule the decision on the field. This is something that works very well in the NFL, and would take away an easy option of simply nodding on any tough decision for the match ref without any real responsibility.

| Similar to NFL - Team able to challange one decision with the video ref. Maybe just for tries instantly ruled out by on field refs

That's irrelevant when the video ref gets called in for EVERY try when he is there.

| I haven’t read through all the four pages so apologies if this has been mentioned
Any kick from outside the 20m (that is the oppositions 20m) that goes dead in goal should be a scrum to the defending team or a tap if on the last tackle. Too many teams take the easy option of leathering the ball over the dead ball line on the last and set up for the 20m tap

| If a team forms a scrum quickly to stop the clock, then they must contest that scrum with the players present.
If they want to change the make up of their pack (ie use all their forwards) the clock continues to run ....
