A tragic end to what was clearly a difficult time for Terry.

Watching Sky Sports, Brian Carney especially is clearly shaken. Summed it perfectly however: "Whatever you thought about Terry, he was a human being".

Brian Carney on sky looks as though he was going to burst into tears but deliverd a very good account of "Teza"...well done Brian,Eddie and Barry on a very good reporting of this sad news.

I found it quite uncomfortable viewing to be honest. Carney is clearly shaken and is understandably struggling to formulate coherent replies. Had to turn it over as I felt it was grossly unfair on Carney in particular. Should have gone to a break to let him either get out or steady himself.

How sad - such a waste - one of the most talented young players ever to play for the Rhinos.

Shame he could not be helped when he most needed it.

Being a Saints fan, I (along with many others) did not like the way he played, but as said, he is a human and no-one deserves to die. Guess after the family issues, he turned to drugs and that never ends well. Seemed the career loss was the snap, so to speak.

RIP Terry, and I really hope a minutes silence can be observed by all fans at OT next week. However I fear it won't be, so a minutes applause to celebrate his career would be far better, and drown out the morons.

Awful news, i am totally shocked by this, yes he had his issues but no one could deny that he had talent and lets not forget was good enough to represent this fine nation at this sport.

It's friends and family you have to truly feel for. Whatever drove him to the edge it's at least over for him now, but the ones he's left behind will be facing the word 'why' for the rest of their days. My heart goes out to them... what a sad, sad state of affairs.
