Statistically speaking, Senior takes the ball into contact, and makes more tackles per game, than many forwards as he isn't interchanged. He has been playing as an extra 2nd row forward for the last 3 years.

What did Connolly ever do for England or GB in his "pomp"? Senior's test career pishes over his, and the same could be said of Newlove, but that is more debatable.

They have both been in underachieving international teams there whole careers.

in all fairness to senior,connolly,cunningham and any other gb player over the past 15 years,hardly any have excelled at international level.sculthorpe and farrel,but no others have.

I imagine it reads better than 1 try in 31 games for GB.



Senior in the all conquering Wigan team would have blasted Connolly's achievements out of the water. Connolly was a very good defensive centre. Senior is an attacking weapon.



If playing in the NRL is the barometer for talent, then Edwards must have been awful.

He was for GB.

30+ caps. a 13 year international career, multiple selections in the world 13. A man of the series award against NZ in 02, and a series winners medal against NZ.

To be serious though, as to the 3 centres carrers, In my opinion Newlove and Conolly both played against far better opposition throughout the world in there day than Senior has.

btw I'm in no way saying Senior has been a bad centre!
