The point I was making, was that the RLF have been bigging up the announcement as though it was some worldwide known artist who sells out Arenas. Just like the names I mentioned.

Does anybody wait until they know what band is there before they buy the tickets?

Does anybody think back and reminisce about who the singer was that year rather than the rugby?

What a bunch of moaning, miserable old barstewards RL fans are; Blossoms are a great indie band who've paid their dues and as a result, do a brilliant live show - which unlike the majority of people who seem to be moaning for the sake of it, or because they haven't heard of them, I've actually seen - twice.

Whilst it's de rigueur to criticise the RFL for absolutely everything, being unable to book every individual old git who'll be attending the GF's favourite band, seems churlish.

So people can’t debate something on a discussion board because you’re a fan of the issue being discussed.....ok then.

If it was a band you didn’t like or haven’t been to see live is it ok to discuss it?

And I'm not a fan per se - I just think they're a really good live band, so on that basis, and their profile amongst younger people, a good booking for the GF in the absence of Beyoncé or Kanye, who were probably busy.
