I'm not sure what the ramifications are for the RL club but their parent company MKAC Investment Partners Ltd (directors Marwan Koukash and Andrew Chalmers), who are the 100% shareholders in the RL club, were struck off by Companies House earlier this week for not filing accounts or doing their annual return.

Is Rugby League about to experience its own Allen Stamford fiasco?

Its coming that's for sure, not sure what is going to happen to the Devils but it wont be good.

When people find out what's been going on, certainly the Salford faithful they will be disgusted & embarrassed.

Whether there is a financial fiasco waiting to unveil itself remains to be seen - certainly true that MKAC Investment partners has been dissolved though whether that is a penalty for late filing of returns or voluntary none of us know, the Companies House website is not forthcoming on that.

If Salford left the Willows without a penny in the bank then I'd simply bump the question back to how they arrived at that point. For years fans were told John Wilkinson ran a tight ship performing "miracles" (god knows how many times I've heard THAT WORD used on GMR phone-ins).

So did that equate to running the club into the ground - or was it more than that? Don't sound so injured that anyone might conceive things were not as they seemed at a Rugby League club. I remember only too well the fiasco at St. Helens prior to the arrival of Eamonn McManus. The directors at our club wouldn't have done what they did if it weren't SOP across the league. Like likes like - as they say.

I cant get a credit limit on MKAC or the club....

No mask, though plenty of ladies at work wish I would to make it easier on their eyes.

I see it has become normal practice to call anyone who dares question anything at Salford jealous, although why anyone would be jealous of a club in a rented stadium that generates no revenue for them and that is near impossible to get to, with a mediocre team, paper thin squad who were knocked out of the cup by lower league opposition, a media whore of an owner who understands nothing about running a professional sports club (see losses when they can be bothered filing) and who prefers to blame everyone else for his mistakes, is utterly beyond me.

If Salford get sucked into the Middle 8 this year, I suspect that Marwan may well call it a day and return to his ponies full time.

In other news, Dr Koukash recently filed a charging order over the assets of the club in the name of "Trustees of the Koukash Foundation"......

Assets of the club? Does he want that mascots outfit that badly?

Salford fans don't turn up. Huddersfield fans don't travel. The weather is appalling. This could be a record low crowd.
