| I don't think it's as simple as saying if you throw a punch it's a red card. You have to take the whole incident in context. Under current rules Wardel was a red card. I don't think Maguires was however his consistent foul play over the past couple of games will soon put him on the same level as Bailey.
It's time to bring in a second referee to Marshall the rook. There is far too much foul play (that is from all teams not just today) that is unseen and ends up in players loosing their cool.
As for the game, what a great advert for RL. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Leeds were not at their best and made a lot of un forced errors. Credit to Hudds, they got stuck in and rattled Leeds from the start, deserved their win.

| Great defence from huddersfield. Great composure too. Huddersfield should always play with 12. Crabtree is a monster big game player. I hope cudjoe can play like that consistently, if so him and watkins are exactly what we need in the england . Hope huddersfield can keep competing like that.

The most embarrassing thing today is this post. I can't quite comprehend the bitterness from some of the Wigan fans toward Leeds on these forums. Weird.

| Has McGuire caught his missus at it with another fella? His anger issues over the last fortnight have been off the scale.

| About time the Rhinos got a taste of a dodgy VR decision. The inability of Mr. Ganson to spot the try just before half time was a crucial miss. 6 points there for Leeds could well have steadied the ship.
Maybe Steve was giving a bit of payback for Tansey &MM

| Apparently Ablett was trying to remove Wardles crown jewels which led to Wardle losing it

Which dodgy decision was this. The try chalked off just before half time was a Giants try not a Rhinos try.

Cudjoe plays like that every week. He has been awesome this season

| Quote: christopher "How do you know it was accudental knee to the head, or more to the point how did McGuire know he lashed out and there was a scuffle, maybe a sin bin for both players at worst. '"
So not too dissimilar to the Radford/Bailey incident then

| cudjoe was superb again yesterday, like stella says he has been brilliant all season,as has wardle.
as for the red card,he deserved it,no complaints about that, he also deserves a pat on the back for standing up to ablett trying to bully and intimidate him, there's only so much niggle and dirty stuff a guy can take, and it was very out of character for wardle but he can't go around punching people and not get sent off.
as for the game, well yet again leeds simply have no answer to us at the moment, a bit like us with warrington.
leeds tactics of trying to bully and intimidate us doesn't work and sinfield is anonymous in these games, had we played with a bit more composure we could have won by more than the 16 points we did.
a great game to watch, great atmosphere inside the ground, fair play to leeds for coming in their thousands and helping the atmosphere and for the most part were gracious, which even by most leeds fans standards was surprising.
next time we should start with 11 men as they can't beat us with 13 or 12

| mcguire lost his pace about 5 years ago so why would he get upset about it now???
the fact was he made the breaks/half breaks and had no support runners. if he had leeds would have been 12 points better off.
no problem with the result, best team won but theres some pretty stupid comments on here bearing in mind leeds have won there last 8 beating some bloody good teams in that run.
we all lose games, its how you react to them that counts

| A pat on the back?
Wardle needs a trip to the weights room and some work on his technique.
Five unanswered shots and he still couldn't even get a reaction, let alone put Ablett down. If you're going to get sent off, at least take someone with you.

| He did have Delaney trying to twist his head off at the time
The fact he still landed them deserved some kudos
He shouldn't have reacted, he did
But he'll be a better player for it

| Quote: christopher "There is a world of difference between the two incidents your anti Leeds bias is getting in the way.
The McGuire incident involved a knee to the head, McGuire reacted, cudjoe reacted penalty could have gone either way.
The Albert incident was a bit of hanbags at 5 paces ref shouts to them to walk away, wardall throws clear punches to the head, I'm not sure the ref had a choice to be honest'"
Did you miss ablett kneeing to wardles head on the ground too? Total different scenario!
