Going off their shambolic showings of late,i'd revoke the licence of Widnes immediatley.
They will bring nothing to Super League.
Widnes won't be able to attract quality players so their going to be battered by allcomers next season.

Widnes are going to need at least 10 quality players to just finish outside the bottom 3.
But the problem is they aren't a big enough club to attract big names so that equals a season of being destroyed even by the likes of Crusaders. (their closet rivals)
Top players are attracted to top clubs who win major trophies so that rules Widnes out.
Widnes fans maybe all smiles right now but when it's the middle of June next season and they are still searching for their first win and have a points difference of minus 400 there won't be many smiles amongst the Stobart faithful because they'll know they are completley out of their depth. |

They have a wealthy owner who is committed to the club and are currently looking to recruit players for next season,jog on. |

Come on then numb nuts. You tell me exactly what Widnes will bring to Super League.
And as for having 'a wealthy owner',it doesn't matter if he's a multi-billionare as you only have a certain amount you can spend. Or did you not know that?
Top players want to sign for top clubs. This is were Widnes will struggle.
Beyond a few National Rail Cups they have no record of success since the early-90s so tell me which quality players will want to pitch up at the Stobart to improve their current garbage team? |
