anyway dont push your luck here, otherwise ill just start another thread on how the salary cap will affect leeds.
it was really funny watching your reaction last time'"
i know exactly how the salary cap will affect leeds, the same way as the salary cap affects the clubs in australia,
the best players wont be playing this sport, they will be playing another, and every time a quality side is built it is dismantled immediately leading to a stagnation of the game with little evolution and a league like a politically correct sports day where everyone of mummys special little soldiers gets a turn at winning however good/bad they are
but for the time being and whilst there are such p1sspoor clubs in this league with such absolutely embarrassing youth development leeds will continue to only have to be at about 50% capacity to be one of the dominant sides, and if it wasnt meaning that the best british back prospect in a long time was playing ru next year and that as a sport we are still getting the third or fourth pick of the athletes this country produces id be happy for it to continue, under the sc we have competed in four of the last five gf and won three of them, im very happy with this, plus we are likely to compete in the next even though we have been very poor for most of the competition we are still in 2nd place and comfortably so,
but you know what, people are intelligent enough to see you change the argument when you get shown up, maybe its time for you to have another new username?

'when my life is over, the thing which will have given me greatest pride is that I was first to plunge into the sea, swimming freely underwater without any connection to the terrestrial world'
Yves Le Prieur, the real inventor of the aqualung: |
|
| Quote: The Wood "They've added a bit to the Roger Millward stand, but I wouldn't say adding an extra 10m of standing capacity was "loads".
They are planning ground improvements, but in the same way Cas, Wakey and Salford have got planned. Yet their evidence remains invisible.'"
Since we applied:
New pitch
Increased capacity
Re-furbished floodlights
Re-furbished bar
New toilets
Still a way to go, but the club have done what they said they would do up to now.

Except he's talking someone who likes football as a second sport, not the other way around. RL is, has been and always will be my first choice sport.

Quote: dally messenger "the NZ Warriors play in the NRL.
all bar one of the WC winning team play in the nrl.
their WC success is a reflection of the nrl.
edit
You never said the Warriors, you said New Zealand.
If you meant the Warriors then your point is just stupid. It's like France winning the WC and us saying "guess which league Catalans play in" like it makes a difference!
And you do realise that no World Cup winning teams play in the NRL.
And you do also realise that nobody mentioned anything about NZ winning the 4N.
And you do also realise that you haven't had a reasonable point in about a year now. I think it goes back to the time you lost the plot saying that rugby league is more popular than football in West Yorkshire. Your recent jibes about "goals" (whatever that's all about, since they have them in RL as well you fool) suggests that you have gone back on that one as well "on the sly"
Get it sorted, Dally. Or you'll die alone!

You trolling is getting worse and worse, your a poor imitation of what has gone before, theres no thought or intelligence in it, just repeating yourself ad nauseum, making 3 posts to get one reply like it's an acheivement!

Perhaps this message board isn't loaded full of as many idiots as I thought. Maybe they're all just Dally.

Quote: rover49 "Since we applied
The pitch was substantially improved in 2006, well before the licence application in 2008.
In terms of claiming "the club has done what it said it would do up to now", unless it adds 3500 capacity before February, no it hasn't:
"Super League side Hull KR have announced ambitious plans to expand their Craven Park stadium as part of their licence application. And in order to support their application, Rovers have outlined plans to increase their current stadium capacity to more than 14,000 by 2010."

Well done on the toilets and the new bar carpet though.

enjoyed watching some of that game.
its good to see the salary cap doing its job.
the rise of huddersfield is a further example of what i referred to.
leeds have had some good times but now are beginning the slide that happens to top teams in the nrl.
if you are a real fan, you will support them through good times and bad

you see this is better dally, good work, using wigan and hudds as your examples, two clubs who have spent a fair bit of money from their respective owners as evidence, very contradictory, i like it,
thats a little more cerebral, but your delivery was lazy and obvious, better work, but you still have a long way to go
hull kr would have been a better example, you would have got more bites you see, and it wouldnt have been as obvious
using two fairly free spending clubs, propped up by their owners as examples of the sc working was too obvious
had you used a traditionally small club, which has acheived on the back of imports it would have been a little more disguised, because you have changed the argument from 'SC works here are two poor examples of clubs only able to suceed under the SC' to 'the SC works here is a good example of a club only able to suceed under an SC, but one which has needed to rely on imports, something we dont want'
