The fact that he knocked it forwards onto Meli, which meant a knock on even before he knocked it back. All of the video referee decisions were obviously correct.
Silverwood should be stood down from next weeks games at least. All 26 players on the field stopped when the knock on happened. It wasn't marginal or dubious, there was no doubt for the attacking side to benefit from. It shows how utterly shocking the officiating in Super League, that is what makes SL look so amateurish when compared with the NRL. Silverwood also missed a couple of ridiculous forward passes particularly for Wheeler's try. |
