No i think of nz more when i think of rl, they are after all the best team in the world.

What amazes me is the fact you dont think of england as an rl nation but spend all your time talking about british rl (and proving you know nothing about it).

It did appear. rlIt didn't say muchrl. But the express did publish a pretty picture of what they thought it might look like.

Seriously...I fear for you and Cas if there is no PROPER movement on stadiums by the end of next year. It would be a crying shame if a club was to be booted out because of stadia, but you get the impression that Widnes are a shoe in and 2lose will be fast tracked, so something (or someone) will have to go.

What people fail to realise is that Wakefield no longer release meaningless statements in the press regarding progress towards a new stadium (been there done that).

So many stadium plans, too many false dawns and too many unrealised ambitions regarding a stadium and the deluge of criticism that follows has taught Wakefield to keep it shut unless they have something concrete to say.

A perfect example of this is the statement released by Castleford last week regarding the council's decision to make land available for use as collateral when raising funding for the two stadiums to be built in the Wakefield district.

This deal was identical for both clubs involved but only one club chose to make a big press announcement about it. If Wakefield trinity had their way they would not release another statement until JCBs and steelworks begin arriving at the proposed new stadium site.

Unfortunately the council have their own press department who will release information to the public regarding the stadiums and therefore Wakefield Trinity have to follow suit to clarify their position.

I agree but this is the nature of franchising. It would seem a shame to boot Wakefield out if they are performing well on the field and have a great youth team but the licensing system states that that alone is not enough.

It is the downside of the new system. We can't have it that an existing club only needs to be doing well on one front but any new clubs have to prove themselves on all fronts.

their WC success is a reflection of the nrl.
