Remember, that whoever wins will have to face the might of the Sydney Roosters in February. On that day a Salford team which would be without Jackson Hastings would be mince meat at the end of 80 minutes, and an embarrassment for British rugby league. So those who care about the international game, and the reputation of the British game, should be praying for a St. Helens victory.

International? The internationals are yet to come. The Aussies do not see any club in the northern hemisphere as offering much so will not care if its Saints or Salford. They will take note of the GB side.
As for the British game, little old Salford (quote by Jacko) will provide romance. Romance matters in sports. Jean, have you heard of romance?
