to be fair the 2nd half was a decent spectacle and can see why the scummers turned them over a couple of games ago, a wasted chance for kr , saints cup to lose imo

They aren't a Super Team just the best of a pretty indifferent bunch.
The lack of good Wigan and Leeds side means that very few games have any intensity and that can lead to complacency.

Saints will lose some games yet this year and if they happen to be the knock out games then it will be another season without a major trophy it's just the way it goes.

I couldn't criticise Barba because I was laughing at him so much at the end of last season.

Really our side only bothered playing for 10-15 mins in the whole game and still nearly pulled it off.

As for Austin (and I like him personally) it was clear the fact he was on the teamsheet Mcdermott already had used the Kleenex and he was MOTM before kick off. (poor really) . I just think if Jackson Hastings played for Wigan/Saints/Wire/Leeds he would have already won the man of steel before the season started.

Also during the match when the player was "dragged into touch" was it just me or did he actually get nowhere near the touchline ? he looked at least a foot in play with the merry flag waver premature. ?
