You have no idea, The south Stand has been funded 100% by the Rhinos, while the new North Stand is jointly paid for by both the Cricket and the rugby, sharing the corporate suites etc. In fact the Rhinos share of the cost is £14 million. (be noted this is the cost to Leeds Rhinos not Leeds city council )

| He did put the old "as far as I'm aware" on the end which usually means "I haven't got a clue".

| Prize pillock - always has been, and always will be; and it makes a mockery of all the mental health nonsense that was trotted out to excuse his previous indiscretion.

Would someone do that for no reason whatsoever?

Arguably this could be why we see these constant failings because he knows people will still continue to give him chances because of his talent.'"
I'm not saying support so that he can continue to play RL. Not support as in "we'll stand by you and give you another chance". I mean support so he doesn't end up in prison or a grave. There's obviously a pattern of self destructive behaviour. As I say he shouldn't step on an RL field again in a professional capacity but that doesn't mean there's no underlying problem that doesn't need sorting. Nobody acts like this "just because".'"
Undoubtedly, some people who suffer from mental health issues have questionable judgement and behaviour that can be a manifestation of their mental state.
But I am firmly of the belief that some people are also just first rate A-holes. People who's number 1 priority is having a good time, regardless of the potential consequences or the impact they have on those around them.
Zaks interview in RLW stinks of someone who knows he's super talented, knows that's enough for him to stand out in SL and be a star and as such hasn't needed to apply himself. Whilst he made all the right quotes about now focussing on his career, ultimately.hes proven again that he takes his talent for granted and thinks he can behave however he wants, because he's a good rugby player and that will always be there as a living for him.
As such, I'm more than confident that Zak firmly sits in the A-hole category, potentially both, but using mental health as an excuse for his repeated bad behaviour does not wash with me.
He likes a drink, and is clearly a terrible drunk - behaves badly and make a terrible choices. That is not necessarily (and rarely) a mental health issue.

| I think this, and other issues this year, raise the question of whether the RFL should set up some kind of Integrity Unit as the NRL have done. Obviously, it’s tempting for clubs to sweep player conduct under the carpet as much as possible and to “deal internally” with issues that arise. No club wants to be handing star players to their rivals for nothing. An independent Integrity Unit with the power to fine and suspend players for their conduct away from the field when it brings the game into disrepute would be a step in the right direction in my opinion. That suspension is then game-wide, so other clubs can’t benefit.

| When is he gonna realise that he can't go out with his coked up mates anymore.
He doesn't seem to want to accept that he is a professional athlete and he cannot do what his mates wanna do.

| Wigan know they will probably win the title next year if he gets himself back up to speed by playoff time
The guy clearly has something wrong with him and I think Wigan's best investment would be to send him to a psychiatrist, given this is twice in under a year he has nearly killed himself drinking

| It's not hard to, you know, have some dates written down for your insurance and MOT.
It's also not too difficult to, you know, NOT drink and drive. Get a taxi, plan ahead if you know there may be alcohol.
These things don't happen by accident, it isn't unlucky. They happen to idiots who can't organise their life.
He'll have a gig. Whether it be Wigan or elsewhere, but when he retires his life is DONE. Drugs and jail await. See Alker. He will never learn.

His future looks very bleak once he’s finished playing. He has to sort his act out or he’ll have a very crappy life once RL is over.
His agent and family network should be guiding him down this route because life will hit him very hard once his playing days are over. Get signed up with a University or start investing some of your spare time learning new skills that will benefit you outside of the game. Hardaker doesn’t strike me as the kind of person that thinks about his future.

| A lot of people have a lot of mates and different groups of mates they can knock about with, often you’ll see they come from good families (don’t have to be angels, just decent people).
The difficulty for people not like that [idiots] is that they aren’t liked by many people so they have a small selection of co-idiot mates who nobody but that small group of idiots like. They often attract idiot girls who have no personality and wear too much makeup. These lads are also often from idiot families so they’re always surrounded by idiots and they can’t stop surrounding themselves with idiots.
Bred by idiots, grow up an idiot, formed into an idiot, act like an idiot, meet fellow idiots, breed their own idiots...
You can try to change an idiot but unless they drop all of the idiots from their idiot life they will never change and idiots can’t see that they need to change their life and remove themselves from the idiots to become a normal person.
Punishments, reprimands, threats, help, psychiatry, rehabilitation... try all you like to change an idiot but if they don’t remove themselves from the idiots none of these things will ever work!
