As for people blaming the ref, give over. Actually felt sorry for him as towards the end the players , hull especially were becoming a joke, with the game won and a mounting injury list, just keep your noses clean and live to fight another day.

"Poor tackle" - weasel words if ever I saw them; and Fev fans may have dined out on it, but Ropati didn't for quite some months, unless it was through a straw.

It remains one of the most brutal and sickening attacks I've ever seen on the pitch; and no amount of downplaying will sanitise it.

For those who don't know Orchard Park and Bransholme are two large council estates in Hull.

What concerns me is Radford isn't really accepted any fault of his players. It seems he's directing it all at Fev. Trust me, I was a total neutral when watching last night but it takes 2 to tango. Faurimo was beyond moronic.

I've no doubt there have been worse incidents, but I haven't witnessed them. Flower's brain fart was awful, but at least he wasn't sneaky about it and he didn't try to run away,
I saw Rocky Turner, Vinty Karalius, Jack Wilkinson, Chris Burton and Jim Mills all play and believe me they took no prisoners, but I've never seen anything as nasty as Chase's assault on Ropati. There was no need for it, there was no provocation, it was just sheer nastiness, I'm no lover of Cas, but I don't blame them, I blame the player. He should never have played again after that. He did. But that's the RFL for you.

I've seen the game now. For the first twenty Fev were like the rabbit in the headlights, and it looked as if Hull would blow them away. But once Fev started playing, and Hull looked insecure, that's when the nasty stuff started. Holding down at the tackle, flops, holding the tackler down (Briscoe got sinbinned for that) A blatant high tackle on Briscoe on about 27 minutes, unpunished, and several knock-ons at the PTB which they got away with. The Hardcastle disallowed try was another example of the officials favouring Hull. The point of the ball clearly touched the ground, under control, before the Hull player intervened. Hull got away with so much for so long that they thought they could do what they liked, hence the carnage at the end. I'll admit that Taulapapa should probably have been yellow-carded, but it wasn't high despite what the Sky commentator said, it was early. The reaction of the Hull player after he obstructed Briscoe said it all about Hull. He should have got a red card for that smirk alone. I don't watch much Sky but their commentary team really are very biased against Championship clubs.
