a small minority of clubs are affected positively by their being promotion to SL, the few that are immediately suffer the negative effects of relegation from it thats why none of the team promoted, the club relegated, or the club surviving the million pound game are running an academy. When they approached the RFL, the RFL were moving away from licensing. Thats why they didnt consider them. Im not sure who you think i would blame for the disastrous system we have in place other than RFL, the clubs in the lower leagues who pushed for it, and the clubs in SL who voted for it.

Local as in coming through the well financed, well structured academy and youth development system built to provide a pathway for youngsters from youth RL through to Pro RL.

You know that thing that that is absolutely necessary to bring through youngsters and that thing that after 139 years of existence Leigh havent got in place.
