Talk of how bad this years dream team by some, had me looking back to a couple of years ago 2014. Is it going to be much worse than this lot?
Full-back: Zak Hardaker (Leeds Rhinos)

Full-back
Yeah I think it's substantially worse - what the above does show though is that the decline has been coming over a few years. Leeds tactic of previous years to basically take the pee for most of the regular season and then only turn it on for the play-offs showed that.

So players quality has declined, yet no other player is allowed to improve year on year? Fans just say it's the lack of quality, I notice in those dream team selections that the majority play for teams who have had poor seasons.
Yes I'm an fc fan but maybe because ourselves and wire have recruited better than anybody else over the last season or two some fans of the 'bigger clubs' don't want to see it. Fault lies at your own club for signing poorer quality players

Full-back
Both are pretty good teams to be honest, especially in their respective seasons.
Though I don't think this season is any worse than any other season. It's just that some miserable sods teams aren't winning as easily anymore so we'll pretend the whole thing is rubbish.

Quality players who didn't get on the list but played in a couple of those seasons: Fielden, Long, Lyon, Sculthorpe, Barret, Cunningham, Newton, Lam, Briers.
I don,t think any of todays players could dislodge any of that list from the ultimate dream team.

Do you mean Scott Taylor? Him and Hill easily the best two props this year, outplayed them both in three games this year, watch the cup game again and compare them all.
Taylor has been excellent all year, not just the last 8 games. |

It wasn't that long ago that Saints fans were having a go at Amor and Walmsley. Scott Taylor has been fantastic for Hull and has been the best prop in SL.

Stats are showing Amor and Walmsley far superior when it comes to Tackle Busts, Metres Made and Offloads (Prop Work) and doing hard yards in a very poor team. Taylor is better in defence and is playing well in a very good team. |
