Pleased with the Toulouse result too. Hope they can keep building and work up through the divisions. Would be an interesting set of travelling for SL in the middle 8s if they were to get there in a few years

Well done to Batley also, I'm sure one of the commentators said they haven't beaten Fev in the cup since the thirties!
Seeing Shaun Ainscough always makes me smile, I think his error last season at Fev has to be my favorite blunder ever.

Actually, I really don't want to see Catalans or Toulouse drawn next round or at Wembley. Toulouse would not stand a chance against the power of Catalans, with the Catalans attacking brilliance of Todd Carney, Krisnan Inu and David Taylor, and playing under the defensive systems recently introduced to Catalans by Glenn Stewart, defensive systems that worked so well at Manly Sea Eagles.
My dream is for Toulouse to make it to the semi-finals, confronting the likes of Warrington or Wigan, as they did in 2005 against Leeds, and have Catalans win the final against the team that beats Toulouse. |
