| Gale for Williams, Bateman for Whitehead, anybody who has ever played centre before ever for Bateman.

| Williams is being caught with ball in hand too many time. He shouldn't of been picked for this series, he's had one good season for Wigan and all of a sudden England's hopes are seeming to be thrust upon his shoulders. He is going to be a good player, I just hope this series doesn't dent his confidence. I personally would have assessed Williams after next season

| Having watched Williams all year, that type of performance isn't untypical. Brilliant one week, anonymous the next. He'll learn with experience, but no way should he be scapegoated as the reason we lost that test. Play him on his home ground next week and he'll more than likely rip it up.

| We're crying out for some halfbacks with wide ranging passing games, who can create space. Sinfield wasn't perfect but he at least has that ability, Tomkins does, as well. Widdop has proven himself to be unbelievably average, yet again, and having been brought up in the Aussie system you'd assume he'd at least be able to deliver an accurate pass to both sides.
Williams is 21 years old, he'll make mistakes, we have to be patient, but he'll know that a few more performances like he put in today will soon see him out of the side.
Overall the defense was fantastic, and there was nothing between the sides, but England's pivots were poor, and the forwards seemed to lack energy.
The most frustrating thing for me though was our persistence of going to the left in attack. This goes back to my first point about halfbacks not being able to pass accurately in both directions. We have our most attacking back rower, best centre, and fastest winger on the right, yet we continuously don't try to put them in space.

| Gale has being a top performer for us week in week out and deserves a shot. Will banana agree i think not.
Williams will be selected next week regardless of that shower of **** he served up today (not the only 1 i may add) as he plays for Wigan.
Dare i say if Banana was not in charge i think we would have seen Brough and Gale as England halves and if that was the case i think we would be 2-0 up.

| Embarrassing for Rugby League, Mcbananas team selection has been consistantly poor for all his time as England coach. Williams, Bateman, Whitehead no where near international quality yet! clueless

| Gale should have been first choice at the start of the series, but I can't see him making any big changes for the last game, I'd consider bringing Westwood into the back row to add the bit of punch that Whitehead and Farrell don't provide.

| Farrell is fairly solid in defence but that's not enough for an international player. Is James lowes the attacking coach?

Agree also Jerry and Cudjoe for Hudds should also have being selected ahead of Burgess and Bateman but none of said players play for Wigan Leeds or in the NRL, Mcbanana hasn't got a clue. I for one really hope he gets the chop after this series is over.

Brough and Gale would have struggled just as much behind that pack today, nowhere near as dominant as last week.
Plus, Brough is Scottish. And a bottler.

| What an appalling game of "international" rugby league. You'd think after being pushed up from the graveyard television slot on Sunday evening to main coverage on Saturday afternoon there would be a little bit of quality on show. Sadly, one could mistake today's game as an RU match.
An unpopular suggestion but I'd keep the halfbacks the same. Last week I thought Williams did well, think he deserves a chance to make up for his game today.

| It was just awful tactics. The NZ pack weren't going to roll over as easily as last week yet we think we have and amazing steamrolling pack as usual when we have class like Watkins and Hall out wide.

He's not. He's a decent second row. It's not his fault that he's not a centre, it's McNamara's fault for picking him there. We need to put a centre in the centre at international level. Or we effectively surrender any chance of attacking on one entire flank.

Im not saying they wouldn't but they both offer abit of flair and i think one if not both of them would have produced something to get us over the line today.
Also Brough is only Scottish because of McNamara if he wasn't the coach, on form over the last few years Brough would certainly be English.
