| Quote: meast "really??? 5/6 years ago maybe but your away support is as good/bad as ours is now.
there can't have been more than 200 at wigan last night, most clubs, including us, would take that and more.
this myth about hull clubs taking thousands away really is long overdue.....still both capable of taking big numbers but nowhere near as good as what the fans make out.... although Hull fc have the biggest away following at ours, almost twice as many as what leeds had on thursday
Hate sticking up for Rovers, but they generally take a good following, miles better than Hudds, you say you would take more than Rovers to Wigan, but you only brought about 200 to Hull last week for a game that wasn't on Sky.
I have never seen anywhere near 1000 Hudds fans at Hull, even when you have been on good form.
To state your away support us as good as Rovers is a silly statement.
Hudds have and still have the worst away support when you compare their home crowds and success compared to ever other SL side except Catalans.

Also, Friday night game at Wigan from Hull is difficult, me and the wife don't get home until 6pm most nights, we can make cas, Wakey and Leeds at a push but Lancashire is too much. Hudds playing at Wigan on a Friday is an hour and a quarter closer.
On the game, we were pitiful and I hope Chester makes them watch this over and over until it sinks in that you need 100% effort at all times. I heard a comment about "men against boys", but in reality the damage was done by boys in Wigan shirts, the Williams try at 40-0 was a disgrace and the last try was worse, how can 6 defenders NOT stop one single player.
We can play well, with our best team out, but our squad depth is poor and we will struggle if we don't get some forwards in soon, you cannot lose the likes of Weyman and play well without adequate replacements.

| Hull KR were without Terence Campese, Dane Tilse, Kevin Larroyer, Shaun Lunt, Joshua Mantellato, Kristopher Welham, and one other first choice player. With that amount of talent missing what chance did the team have?

That's the way the team looked at it judging by their lack of effort.

| I was thinking of a training drill used to do run full length of field passing down the line and back using 7-8 players a time. Think you would struggle to score 34 points (with kicks) in 20 mins. Or inspired full team running through a set of six.

Ps not having a dig at rovers generally as they have been good mostly this year.

well played, sir well played!
Besides, Wakey do bring a lot to SL, we hand 2 points to opposition teams on a nice big shiny silver platter.

love your trolling!
Wigan had about 1/2 their salary cap sat out last night:
Matty Bowen
Josh Charnley
Anthony Gelling
Iain Thornley
Lee Mossop
16 out of the 17 Wigan player British, 10 Wigan trained.

Rubbish. There's 4 points between 4th and 11th at the half way stage of the regular season. Had KR put in an effort, that could have been 2 points... with a game in hand.
Any coach or even sportsman who thinks that they can't make up that points difference wouldn't be a coach or a sportsman. It's just pure bull from those that aren't a fan of the new system.

You cared enough to post.
Utterly laughable performance from Hull KR. Probably the worst I've seen in SL
