| It's the best opener we could hope for. Makes a change as we usually end up getting caught cold straight off the flight. I fancy us though even without Peacock.

| People don't realize that if it hadn't been for an incident at a Brisbane nightclub, Reni Maitua would have been playing for Samoa (at either no. 6 or no. 13) and the task England would have faced would have been much more difficult.

| Maitua is average at best. Widdop is a far superior 6.

And if Sam Burgess hadn't gone to RU and/or broken his cheekbone he would have played and the task Samoa would have faced would have been much more difficult.
If Australia hadn't had so many injuries and withdrawals they would have had the strongest side by far and the task England/Samoa/NZ would have faced would have been much more difficult
If, if, if.
Blah blah blah

| Maitua is not good at 6, he is a bit part player at best. His best years were as a back tower 10 years ago but the game has evolved since then.
He was 4th choice half back at his club at best which says it all.

| Interesting when reading all the previews from Australia that they fail even once to mention Chris Hill. Surprising also given that the only real chance to see him up against the NRLs best was for England against Australia in last years World Cup. During that game he constantly tore through the Ausie pack which contained all forwards that the Ausies are now bemoaning for being absent, Gallen etc
Hill is as big as the Burgess boys and is arguably better than both of them, definitely Tom and at least on a par with George.

I would keep those thoughts to yourself, if I was you. Otherwise we'll soon find Chris Hill playing in the NRL.

| If England can beat Samoa by at least 20 points ---despite Samoa having a much superior 3/4 line -- then England has a good chance to beat a rusty Australia the following week.
Only a magical performance by Gregory Inglis can lift the unbalanced pack of Australian forwards to match the English pack --- assuming that Shaun O'Loughlin plays. Otherwise, if England beat Samoa by at least 20, they will next beat Australia by at least 8 points.
One cannot underestimate the psychological effects on Australia of a humiliating defeat to New Zealand. Australian players will lose their sense of entitlement, which comes from having the wizardry of Johnathan Thurston at their disposal.

You really do spin some rubbish.
Most of the stuff you peddle does not make any sense.
Get a life.
