London & Wakefield. Both are not commercially viable entities, both are poorly supported.
As for those arguing for Bradford & Salford - the one that until recently had five-figure home crowds, the other will a multimillionaire owner wanting to create success for RL in the largest city in the North of England - wake the feck up.'"
Salford isnt that large,or are you talking about Manchester,in which case Leeds,Sheffield and Bradford are arguablly all larger.
Didnt London have a multimillionaire backer wanting to create success in a large city?

| Wakefield's average last season was actually pretty good.

| My cup half empty take on things is that bradford will be relegated and never come back.
I read such naive hogwash about rebuilding but I find it just as likely that we instantly go bust again and cannot remain in a cavernous stadium with 2k crowds. Just another former topflight club muddling along pointlessly. Sometimes known as the Halifax model. Or worse hunslet.
I do gain some comfort from knowing that owners and chairs of clubs such as leeds and saints know full well top flight rugby needs bradford and have said as much. The fans just want bradford to face an ill defined type of justice irrespective of the comp it leaves behind.
That kind of parochial spite at the expense of the strategically best scenario is unfortunate but infests every sport. I get it.

| If and I mean if Bradford get their points back and another team goes down instead would that team be able to take the RFL to court and win, when you look at teams like Salford with money to burn and say it was them instead of Bradford

I would be staggered if we even get 2 back. I don't think the appeal will affect the relegation spots at all.

On what basis?
The appeal is not being heard by the RFL, it's by an independent panel. So it's not the RFL's decision.
The appeal is allowable under the rules. That's something all clubs have agreed to.

| Unlike Hughes, Koukash has actually put his money where his mouth is, both in terms of signing players and boosting gates.
Salford is part of Greater Manchester, they're also the nearest team to Manchester centre proper.
Salford's attendances have increased massively on last year. Rome wasn't built in a day, it'll take a couple of seasons until they're challenging. Wanting them to go down for the temerity of having an owner who actually tries to transform a club is parochial spitefulness at its worst.

| From a Cas point of view it would have to be the 2 teams who bring the least fans, unfortunately, Catalans is one amazing away day, So that leaves London and Salford. But it will definitely be London and Bradford who go down, and as they will be the bottom 2, rightfully so.
Both clubs need a fresh start, they need to take stock of themselves and rebuild the whole identity of the club, once they have done this they will regain their place on merit.

Won't happen. Neither will be back.
But hey maybe feath will have 5 mins in the sun so everyone can pretend the game isn't actually on its aris.
After all what the game needs is the universal panacea of promotion and relegation, with the wholesome and traditional village teams rather than city teams that this brings. That'll make the broadsheets sit up and take notice.

So if they dont get back they arent capable of bettering these ' village teams ' ,they wont deserve to get back, and better to see an article on Fev making SL than another debt ridden collapse by Bradford Bulls

TBH, I don't see how teams CAN get back into SL after this year. The clubs that are down will be forced down to a lower salary cap than those in SL, a lower overseas quota and might even be forced into having part-time teams due to financial constraints.
Under the old structure of a play-off between Championship clubs to earn promotion, you at least had a chance, but 4 SL sides vs 4 Championship sides? You might get the occasional upset as we've seen in the cup, but is it really going to happen every year?
IMO the 2015 structure is there just to give the illusion of promotion and relegation unless the rules are changed so that all 24 teams are placed on an a more even footing than the one on which they currently stand.
