Doesn't say much for their level of ambition.

| Adam Cuthbertson signs a four year contract with Leeds Rhinos starting from 2015. Adam will replace Leuluai who retires at end of the season. Adam will not count on overseas quota as his father is from Warrington.

According to Hetherington all our players (except Jones-Bishop) are signed up for next season?
And Cuthbertson might not count on the overseas quota but he will count on the non-fed trained rules.

Another over the hill, pension seeking crock, being paid daft money at the expense of development.
Are Leeds academy that bad?
Are Leeds coaches that bad?
Are Leeds scouts looking at amateur clubs that bad?
That's how this always comes across.
By the way you could substitute Leeds for most other SL clubs.
Something is still badly wrong with the game in this country.

Let's be honest. Had they signed Greg Inglis you would have said the same.
To call someone 29 over the hill, shows how much credibility your view holds.

Yes but then at the moment South's wouldn't let him go.
Another injury and a payday in Britain maybe on the way

I'll raise you a Salford team for past their sell by date team.
Why has he been "let go"?, in fact why ARE there so many older oceanic's over here?
The NRL clubs are not that stupid.
Development however is a KEY part of the NRL clubs success.
Development, or lack of, a KEY part of RL's failure in this country to create a CONSISTANT (RL favourite word of the moment) international team that can compete on a regular basis.
Oh and as for how much credibility my view holds, that is down to individuals. You don't like them, fine.

Kylie Leuluai was 29 in his first year here in SL. He's been more than just a "pension filler" and not an injury crock either.
And with Cuthbertson effectively replacing Leuluai then concerns of age are a bit daft when the guy departing is 7 years older.

| Just looking back at the number of overseas players ten years ago to today I think we have taken great strides.
I think for the most part RL do a great job developing players when you think that our talent pool consists of parts of West Yorkshire and couple of towns in Lancashire. with Football, Cricket, Rugby U to compete with

I assume this is a feeble attempt at a troll. At 29 he's a good age for a prop and should be in his prime. His stats from the NRL this season are pretty good so looks as though he should be a good signing.
There have been many brilliant imports who have added to our game. I think it is healthy for a squad to have Antipodeans in there. There was a stage 10 to 15 years ago when there was far too many. That for the most part has been addressed now.
Good signing IMO.

...which of course explains how poor English developed forwards are in the NRL. Players like Ellis, Morley, Graham, the Burgess brothers...oh! Wait!

They're only the cream of English forwards, it's not like Aussies clubs have bought the likes of Mike Cooper or taken 18 years old from our Academies like Baldwinson and Tonks at Leeds.
.......Oh wait.

Have you run a Super League club? If not then you're in no position to criticise are you?
