Purposely not acknowledging his achievements with Bradford and Celtic Crusaders?

I (personally) think the sports moved on from his Bradford days. How much he achieved at crusaders is arguably.
Also he is notorious for not using the youngsters, tomkins at Wigan being the most obvious and recent example.
Personally, like Millward, I think nobles time has come and gone, and I think Salford will struggle to push their way from the lower end of the playoffs under him.
The more British coaches the better though so I wish him all the best

| I don’t think Noble will be the man to take Salford to glory, but he probably is the right man for them right now.

| He only signed an 18 month contract last season, so if he doesnt perform to the level expected from him one would assume his contract would not renewed.

| Salford to win Super League 2014? No haven't got play off experience and as Dave K. said 2/3 injuries Salford would not have a shout of winning SL 2014 IMO

When a chairman of a sports club says the manager/coach has his full backing and support, you know their days are numbered!

| Noble was good for wigan he took us from relegation risk to semi finals on more than one occasion, the only problem was he didn't get the squad performing consistently and the squad wasn't as conditioned as well as they should have been. I think he will come back and be a lot more determined now he has had a long break away from coaching.
Salford are a real unknown they have star super league players and with old war horses and depending on how those older players play will determine where they end up.

| Quote: Mike87 "Bloody ell mate you can't half see the jealousy And resentment in your posts, a lot of you are underestimating the Salford public, don't forget all those clubs like Bradford Wigan Leeds Wire Hull saints have all had recent success so fans from those areas have a attractive proposition and a wanting to see their team (who very likely) can get to a final or win one again that's what gets them off their backsides to go.
At Salford the public have seen worse than s*it for over 25/30 years how the hell can anybody blame fans for not going, if they see a team worth watching they'll go and watch simple as that. Instead of trying to pick the Salford club apart in a childish jelous way, it would be better if people just kept quiet and wished them luck.
Everybody knows eventually Salford will do something, with a chairman with a personal wealth of £600million he's by far the richest guy in rugby league and he's not afraid to spend it, which is good for the game, and not a lot of people will realise but they will, that Marwan is the man that eventually will drag rugby league up by the scruff of its neck and finally make sure it is run and promoted in the correct way.'"
Jeez mate, no idea how anything he said come across as jealous? Not everyone is against us you know, and not everyone knows we will win something. Hopefully we do but it's comments like this that give us a bad name. Lets just be happy we've got a team and a potentially competitive one at that.
Fwiw if we're top 8 this season I'll be made up

£600,000,000 personal wealth? If he has, then his EAU company is bigger than PWC or Deloitte's because his main source of income, EuroMa Tech is in the business training and strategy market.
Funnily, his UK based ventures are all pretty average. A Hotel and it's holding company, the Oxford management centre, which he has actually ben involved in a lot longer, but has dissolved and re-instated on 2 occasions are all he has openly other than Salford.

£600,000,000 personal wealth? I suspect only himself and his accountants know the truth about that!
