| Broncos. Been my Aussie team since I was a kid watching Langer, Sailor, Tallis, Lockyer, Hancock and Renouf. In fact I think I saw a Broncos game (on TV) before I ever saw a Salford game.
Like to see the Rabbits go well as well though.

| Quote: JEAN CAPDOUZE "More reason to like them now that former London Broncos star Jamie Soward has relocated there, along with fleet footed Fijian flyer Kevin Naiqama, and 20 year old PNG up and comer Wellington Albert.'"
You make the oddest comments...
Warriors for me. Every games a roller coaster with them and now even more reason to see how Tomkins gets on.
Also have a soft spot for Cronulla. Always the underdog.
It's cringeworthy seeing people use the term "see how he/they goes/go". Does everyone throw away their language and adapt it to that used in Wagga Wagga when talking about NRL?

| I always tend to watch the Bunnies and the Warriors games first if I have a choice.

| I see at least 1 person has admitted to following the Rabbitohs, yet 19 have chosen them in the poll. Wonder if the other 18 followed them before Crowe took over?
And in answer to the question; it's the team that I have kept an eye out on since 2003 yet only followed them properly in the last couple of years due to being able to watch a lot more NRL games.

| Quote: Leaguefan "All of them on Premier Sports.
ALL the matches over a weekend for a fraction of the cost of SKY who offer 2 games reluctantly and mess about with fixtures to suit Mo & Ron Ball's game.
SL show on the Beeb will suffice for me, local radio for the live games and Premier again for Championship games.
Sorry but Sky's obsession with Mo & Ron Ball's game and it's downright sycophancy to rugger and cricket means no more sports subscriptions from me.'"
Mo & Ron Ball?
Are you like, 8 years old or something?

| South Sydney seem to be running away with this poll, given that 35% have chosen them with 20 votes, and Sydney and Brisbane way behind in equal second place with only 5 votes.
I wonder if Russell Crowe knows. If so he could be marketing lots of South Sydney merchandise in the UK.
The Burgess brothers seem to have a certain charisma which is attracting English fans to Souths.

its simple really people watch english players because the have an affiliation with them and there isn't a better english player than sam burgess and he in my opinion is the best player in the NRL if he was an aussie he would be rated as that.

| ^agree^ unless you have an affiliation with one of those clubs you are going to relate to one more than an other due to the players they have, would expect a few Wigan fans to follow NZ warriors next year due to sam playing for them.

Three games on each tape per round...starting with The Winfield Cup promotional vid, then hosted by Graeme Hughes.
He & Ian Maurice did the co commentating after shunting Rex Mossop into the summarising slot...any chance the same fate could happen to Eddie here soon?'"
Yeh that's right. In our local store you went onto a waiting list to rent the latest highlights tape and we were about 7th in the queue so it was more or less 9/10 days after the round was played you got to see it.Didn't mind though as they were great to watch.
Remember Graeme Hughes and Rex Mossop having a big disagreement in the middle of a match once about a penalty try which had been awarded and neither would back down over it!

| Knowing souths they will be bringing a game to England in 2015 and selling a UK membership. They have just gone past 20,000 members for next season!

That would be a smart business move by them, especially given the interest and support that exists in the UK, as we see in this thread's poll.
Also, if we go to a three team vs three team WCC in 2015, to be played in England, then South Sydney has to be one of the teams (assuming that it is NRL top 4 again in 2014).

| Personally, I pick a new team each season on how they play, usually with a tendency towards underdogs. That's meant the Warriors more often than not though!

So long as Malcolm Elliot is coach, the very talented NZ Warriors will remain underdogs.
But according to your criteria you should be a big Parramatta follower as well, with the added "bonus" of probably seeing Lee Mossop every week from now on.
