| Don't know how others rate home but Danny Houghton never seems to get the recognition he deserves

Defensive workhorse, but there are plenty of better attacking hookers.

| Criag Huby has to be my choice at Cas. Very consistent over the years without much quality around him, he has been our best prop season after season (apart from the year he was injured!). Often plays long minutes without a problem and is strong in defence (unlike the rest of his team).
I think you realise how good he has been when you realise he's still only 27 (a baby in prop terms) and has made over 200 appearances for the club, which includes a full year out with a broken knee-cap.

| Richard Whiting always gets mentioned as one of the most underrated players around so his he still underrated..............IMO oh yes he should be up there with Sinfield and O' Loughlin playing for England.

| Richard Whiting... currently in vogue with the Sky commentary team as a most underrated player... therefore sundry fans latch on to it and opine the exact same.
No surprises there.

Cracking player, really come of age this year. Lets hope he continues this improvement and pushes Cudjoe, Watkins and Reed for the England centre spots in the future.

| What about Adam Milner from Cas?
Clarke, a very exciting player, seems to grab the attention, but Milner seems like a good hooker who gets little recognition.

| I don't think Whiting counts as under-rated any more, likewise Simon Grix, who has always struck me as a super-reliable work-horse.
From our club, Paul Aiton seems to go under the radar - he's a defensive machine and hits like a bloke twice his size.

| At Wigan Ben Flower and Darrell Goulding. Flower has been Wigan's best prop this year and has come on so much. He's been playing consistently to a high standard and is up their with the best props in Super League. He just never stops working.
Goulding is just one of those players who always seems to slip under the radar yet has played a massive role in allowing Josh Charnley to bag to many tries early in his career. Even this season when he's been troubled with injuries and illness he's been exceptional in defence and dangerous in attack. A quality player who doesn't get enough plaudits.
