| if its just about getting your winger across the line then ryan hall, scott donald, marcus bai and francis cummins all scored a hell of a lot of points outside senior

Hape was a bit crap at first IIRC and was almost released at the end of his first season, but then really kicked into gear in the last few games. After that he was a wonderful centre to watch.

| First off, let me say I am a fan of Watkins, and Moon at Leeds, both are quality centres but I've got to come out and set the marker down
Lets see what the stats say about Cudjoe v Watkins
8 tries v 14
13 try assists v 7
8.1m v 7.8m av gain
29 v 23 offloads
73 v 52 tackle busts
12 v 16 clean breaks
507 tackles v 273
31 misses v 32
17 errors v 23
81 marker tackles v 47
So 10 stats
8/2 to Cudjoe
Cudjoe is better by every measure than Watkins and after watching Cudjoe since he debued for the giants has developed into a very very classy centre

Well clearly not. As your own hand picked stats show. Could I also ask why you picked those stats particularly? Is there a reason to judge the quality of a centre by the number of marker tackles? Isn't the where, when and how of an offload infinitely more important than how many there are?
Another few stats for you.Cudjoe is a full three years older than Watkins and Cudjoe has played more games.

| Looking at that the two are damn close, no doubt - with Cudjoe edging it at the moment with his defensive workload (although as Watkins has been at fullback and injured a fair bit, that makes sense).
All it says to me is that they should be England's 3&4 at the end of the year, with Cudjoe marking Inglis.

I stopped picking stats because Cudjoe remained ahead - I kept going past the first 5 to try and see of Watkins gained some ground back

| I would take Watkins over Cudjoe every single day of the week.

I don't want to be picky, but without the vital stat [igames played[/i, the above is only a part story.
