Can't understand all the negativity towards Headingley - I personnally love going to watch a game there. Don't take too much notice what colour the seats are or how it hasn't changed since the 60's. Its a great RL stadium.

Knights averaged around 1900 in 2004/5. Last year they averaged around 900. A decent winning team should see them average around 1500 again, and the new stadium will hopefully see us hit 2000 and build from there.

The football team will get double the crowds that the Knights get, they also play three times more games and will pay three times more rent.

The colour of the seats is irrelevant.

The colour of seats is refering to York's new stadium (where the seats are in York City's colours)
Headingley has only deen developed at one end over the last 40 odd years but, I agree with you, it's still a great place to watch RL.
Although the roundball game has had to move to all seater stadia, there is much to be said for standing at RL.
It gives the chance to meet up with more of your friends and its easier to chat/ discuss the game.
