| The commentators said he is exactly what the Bulldogs have needed.
He did a lot of hard work, also put a great pass to create a break, which led to a try.

Quote: Jonesy "James Graham's name is not mentioned in any of the online Australian media reports of the match, maybe it will be tomorrow.
Stats are a funny thing, who noticed Nathan Hindmarsh last night?
Metres Tackles
Nathan Hindmarsh 124 0 1 0 51 0 0
James Graham 112 0 1 0 43 0 0'"
Hindamarsh 80 minutes
Graham 66 minutes
Graham had more receives and carries admittedly for 9 metres less. 0 errors to Hindmarsh's 1. 0 penalties to Hindamarsh's 1.
Though the official stats state that Graham made 51 tackles unless there is some glitch.
live.nrlstats.com/matches/nrl/match12960.html
Stats are funny. Almost every one of them would suggest that Penrith would have won. Bar the actual score.

| Just watched it - game of the weekend so far and Graham was the best forward on the pitch, by quite some margin; the commentators were remarking on him constantly - workrate, feet, hands, toughness etc. Well-deserved motm.
Although he seems to have become 'Jamie' Graham in the off-season - not sure how that happened.

Total balls. A man widely regarded as the best prop forward eligible to play for England right now, who [ihas[/i played for England against Aus and more than held his own, and has won our domestic equivalent of the Dally M award, should in no way have to [iprove[/i that he's above reserve grade quality. It's patronising beyond belief. All Hasler has to do is say the simple sentence "He's an experienced and proven performer and I have no reason to doubt he will fit in fine" - but no, this idiotic sense of superiority in all things RL of the Australian psyche has to kick in causing manure to spout from the mouth.

Thing is, people back in blighty listen to what the aussies say. This is what perpetuates the superiority myth.

You misread.
I never said anything about reserve grade. I said to get in the run on side (ie 13) in what is already a very good forward pack.

| They were keeping him under wraps. No media reports or interviews and then played him down before the game.

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

| He played as if he'd been playing in the NRL all his life, will get better and better. IMO he is more suited to the NRL then SL.
