30 points would see us top 6 i reckon and we have 2 games v quins, 2 v wakey, 1 v salford and 1 v crusaders, we should get we should get at least 8 points from those games imho, leaving 4 wins out of a game against both hull sides, 1 v cats, 2 v leeds, 2 v wire, 2 v wigan and 2 v saints which is very doable.

Well done to Cas also for bringing through Daz Clark, an exciting prospect.'"
Spot on. Cheers Saints for Emmitt. Awesome player.
The good thing about Clark is he compliments Hudson or Milner. They put the hard work in defence early on and then Clark comes on and rips em to bits.
I'll go for a 5th place finish, hopefully with Leeds below us.

| What I particularly like about our season so far is that we're taking everything one step at a time, the club and fans alike. Sure we're enjoying it, but we're not getting carried away. Most fans are very cautious that there are some big games to come and many are still saying top 8 is the aim despite the fact that we're 6 points clear of 8th with a game in hand.
Many other fans seem to have been looking for excuses for why we've done so well and many are quick to say "it won't last" and maybe it won't but we'll enjoy it whilst it does all the same.
We are very much a team looking towards the future in terms of our younger players coming through and whilst finishing in the top 8 this season would be nice, it's the seasons after this one that I'm looking forward to.

We have got second best defence with a game in hand. That will get worse when we play wigan away. I went to hull away where they battered us. If we played the top sides they would of scored on most of the chances.
All us cas fans know we are playing good rugby but we have 20 minute spells in each game where we go to sleep. Im saying for us to suceed we need to cut that out. We have played, shall we say, not great teams. After we play saints, Leeds and Wire in the next few week we will not know how good we really are.

Do you think it's achievable. I just want to get the opinion of you good folk who follow other clubs. Cheers'"
Its not a flash in pan from what i've seen and i would be suprised if you don't finish top 6. Cas deserve to be up top and enjoying it, you'll falter at times but you have a good side.
Classy Cas may be back.

| As a Cas fan obviously i am chuffed to effin bits at the moment... but i'll reserve my judgement until next month is over when we have got the Leeds, Saints and Wire out of the way, even if we drop points there if we can play how we have been playing then all isnt lost,
it's just nice to see us playing some Classy stuff again, some of the trys we scored against Salford were mesmerising, ok Salford arent playing anywhere near there potential atm, but its just so refreshing to see, plus our team depth is the best i have seen it for years down here.

Castleford will finish 4th this year.
Why?
Because I said so. And I'm never wrong.

| What I'd like to see would be Cas' winning the GF and losing their SL franchise, just to see what the RFL would do.

That would be interesting. The WCC would be the biggest joke ever then. The best the Aussies have to offer Vs a team of reject pros and good part time players.
