I can't remember. I saw adverts, both on the pitch and on the TV (not seen anything yet for an Overseas select game).
Playing at LSV was a shocking idea, yet it still didn't even come close to selling out a tiny ground. Walkovers just aren't very marketable.

There's no mystique? Utter rubbish. Tell me how good the team is then? What colours they'll wear? What they're called? Who will be playing? Whether this advert actually IS about an Overseas team? It's difficult to do this sort of marketing for known entities. The RFL are playing off the fact nobody knows about this team (if that's what this is even about). It's gotten people talking.

There is no criticism?! You've just blasted the RFL for spending time and effort promoting a game! The only reason I've seen so far for this opinion is that you find it "meaningless".

So, you think if the RFL had put an FFR13 logo on the screen twice yesterday instead, it would have made a significant difference?
I think personally English RL fans want to watch competitive internationals myself, and they haven't been getting them mid-season against the French so they lost interest. There wad a novelty at first, but that slowly died as the scores increased.
