I've got plenty of mates/work colleagues who are Wire fans and they aren't denying it's the most likely scenario. Obviously you are blinded by your love of your club, but are you really suggesting it's not likely to have happened in this case?

The salary cap and the various loopholes and avoidance techniques will come out eventually. Someone in the future will get greedy/sloppy and tell all in an autobiography. I am not saying this is a new thing either, Wigan have used this tactic more than a few times in the past, leaning on a player to ensure he retires thus allowing them a further signing. Saints have no doubt done it a time or two as well.

The RFL have sanctioned the signing, which basically means they are happy with everything about it. Further to this no one would have batted an eye-lid if it had happened at say Wakey or Salford. It just because we've got Simon Moran backing the club that people are crying foul and 'pay-off'.
