Dave, you have been an official in days gone by. If you had the option of the "on report" facility which officials now have in the incident with Newton / Tansey What woudl you have done.
It seems odd to pull a team back 60 yards to award a penalty which is highly unlikely to yield 60 yards from the resulting kick. The on report could have been dished out at the next break in play. Or could it? |
