Rugby league was around before the SL war you know.
The likes of Malcolm Reilly, Phil Lowe etc were hugely successful in the NSWRL in a period where the top British players were hugely coveted by Australian sides. |

I will add Kevin Ward,Steve Norton,Gary Stephens,Dave Bolton,Dick Huddart to that list,who all won premierships in Oz.
Also,Cliff Watson & Tommy Bishop helped get Crud-nulla to a grand final too |
