| As has been said, official numbers for Hudds are 4000
Saints say they sold 3 times more...
One of them is wrong and I suspect its Saints

according to the official Saints website, Saints sold 3 times as many as Huddersfield - which suggests a split of about 2.5k and 7.5k.'"
Read my post 'above' for our official figure.

Is it because all those Saints fans in the West Stand wore Claret and Gold just to confuse the issue?

| Which again, given the numbers, seems to be a bit of a porky.
Given that Huddersfield have only made comment on the numbers taken by Huddersfield, I find it hard to believe that Saints know more about our ticket sales than we do.
But then everyone knows Huddersfield only take a taxi full anywhere dont they.
Mind, they were very quiet those saints fans in the last half. (I didnt here a peep when Meli scored his 3rd)

| By the same account 4000 seems a very round figure for the "official" number.
But tbh I don't care where the fans came from, or how much noise they made. The turn out from both clubs was disappointing but those who were there got to witness a good game of rugby those who didn't go are the ones who missed out.
Neither club are exactly know for the great attendances so I don't know why anyone is shocked anyway but the good thing for both clubs this season they are showing an increase in attendances on previous seasons which has to be a good thing.

| And given the Wire-wigan game was only 2k more (so less than most Wigan home games) its not that shabby either.
Maybe a lot of Huddersfield fans were saving their money for cup final day

He'd also do well to see that Middlesex isn't "next door" to Wembley...it's actually further than he travells to most away games

It so is. In exactly the same way that Yorkshire is "next door" to Leeds.
rlThe county of Middlesexrl The area marked "15" is Wembley.
Twickenham might not be next door to Wembley. But Twickenham isn't Middlesex.

Yep...you're right.
According to TFL, TW2 to Wemberlee is a short bus, train, tube ride of 1hr 29 minutes....or if you ask the AA, A 37 minute car journey with no parking at the destination.
