I'd go for the "flying Kelvin " incident...
In the 1995 World cup emerging nations tournament Russia v USA...the Russian replacement warming up and a shout came from the crowd...."Watch out, its a Russian sub" followed by sonar noises..
and Huyton v Warrington in the Geoff Fletcher days...Warrington replacements sleek in tracksuits. while a Huyton sub wandered around in a cast off overcoat from Geoff Fletcher that was about 5 sizes too big,

| Remember about 5 years ago at Craven Park, there was a 'Catch the Bomb' comp at H/T between 1 of our fans, and a Doncaster fan. The Donny fan caught the decisive bomb to win it and showed his delight by slamming the ball down touchdown style. Unfortunately for him the ball got stuck under his feet and sent him flying on his back!  |

A more recent one. At half time at the JJB last year they had the mini league on and this time were girls, probably no older than 11. Comical to say the least. I thought I was watching American Football... at one point a girl threw the ball at least 10 meters forward to another girl.
