I always remember the Boxing Day clash (around 1969) at central park when we gave the Wigoons a good trouncing beating them by 53pts to 11pts led by Frank Myler. My memory of that game wasn't the scoreline it was the WIGAN WALK after 50 mins into the game they left in their thousands, that allowed a lot of us who were packed in the away end to come down to the side stands joining the miserable left over Wigoon fans.
When we left the ground to travel back to St Helens all the town centre bus stops had long queues of Wigoon Fans and we had to tell them that Saints had scored 10 tries and stuffed them with 53 pts.

I personally dont know of any Insecure Wigan fans but I do know of a lot of needy and desperate Stains fans who need other fans just to say "yes you are the bestest team in superleague".
