| The Hull derby isn't big beyond it's own boundaries, and is never that high on quality, I, and many others I guess would rather have watched Wire v Widnes.

| In response to the O.P. as a total neutral I would have preferred to have watched the Warrington v Widnes game.
But when Sky did their scheduling, they didn’t know how the season would pan out. But it’s still a game of R.L. to watch, so I'll take the scraps I’m thrown.

The boundary was always the River Mersey prior to 1974... but the club was always south of the River (since 1879 anyway) so therefore a Cheshire club.
]Now since 2004 it may be located north of the River but both Warrington and Widnes towns in their entirety are officially Cheshire]

The County boundaries never changed - some administrative areas were combined with Cheshire eg policing - but Warrington is still in Lancashire

| How is it in Lancashire when it doesn't even border Lancashire?
I was born in the late 70's so it was never even Lancashire anyway for me.
Move with the times and stop living in the past, we are no longer Britannia, I don't watch Catalans play in Gaul.

And Wales was incorporated into England in 1542. Try telling the Welsh that.

Rather annoying being branded from somewhere you are not isn't it? Happens to us St Helens folk all the time and being branded 'Scousers' all too often.
Not that I have anything against people from Liverpool. I've had some good mates from there and they don't call us lot from St Helens 'fellow Scousers' they brand us 'Woolybacks'.

| Well SKY can choose the games at the back end of the season without much notice so I don't see why the games can't be chosen after round 3 or 4..
I'm not sure on the facts about the number of times teams need to be shown etc, but if there is such a thing then surely the said teams could be chosen later in the season.
Easter is some of our best coverage. The most exciting teams at the time need to be shown!
If I was to choose the games based on this season so far.
The Wire game would be a definate along with the Salford, Catalans.
Then probably the Saints, Wigan. Unless SKY risked seeing the Giants potentially lose to predicted season strugglers Wakefield.

Because people and fans would be kicking off about changing fixtures at the last minute. as they do already.

| Why can't they show every game like the NRL that premier do for less money ? (that's why I am getting rid of Sky).

I said the same, even if they show them on delay they could fit them in the schedule somewhere looking around the vasts amount of tripe and filler they put in over the 5 channels. they have the full rights so no reason why not, all you can assume is RL is just a filler for SKY. you can guarantee if they had full premier league rights they would show all games.

Or like i have said before if more then one game been played have the one they keep showing the trys from and let the customer decide which to watch and show the try from the other match half time or full

| When they increase the amount of kabaddi and fishing, and reduce the amount of rugby league, you know they don't give a about us. They've cut us right down to a bare minimum so unfortunately they aren't going to do us a favour and give us more coverage anymore. They've put all their eggs in the F1 basket and every other sport, even the Premier League, is an afterthought. Who would think Sky would ever lose the Champions League? But they prioritised F1 over that so RL is going to be down the pecking order in importance of what to put efforts into next.
