I think Super League 2019 will be reverting to a 14 team league based on franchising, if Toulouse are judged to be one of the strongest 14 clubs, they will be there on merit. This is what I believe will happen. |

If that is the case then great, bring it on. If my club isn't one of the 14 strongest then thats our own fault, not any french team. BTW I am pro franchising. |

Had he backed that up with a string of other amazing plays a la Slater, Inglis etc I would give him more credit for that one amazing play but years of mediocrity with a number of teams who’ve all subsequently made him surplus to requirements mark him as nothing more than an alright but not remarkable signing for Catalan Dragons. |

He played for Gold Coast for 8 seasons and made 150 appearances. He only went because Gold Coast were stupid enough to sign Hayne on mega money.
He also signed a contract extension at Brisbane for 2018 too, so wasn’t surplus to requirements. It was actually Mead who asked for a release so he could take up the offer from Catalans.
Unfortunately, he’s not the answer to Catalans’ problems though. |
