Salford bring plenty to Superleague, and you bring plenty to this board despite the utterly tiresome WUMS.
Salford differ in that they don't run an academy but there is an argument that this doesn't matter as there are other academies nearby. I enjoyed their performances, they have the modern stadia, their fans are great and they have been splendidly entertaining.
Was that just a magical coach in Watson? Even if it was, the new coach seems to have great credentials anyway. I'd trust the bookies here.....

Essentially yes, he needs another op, with a 7 month recovery period, but the surgeon isn't available until March as they're overseas. He'd miss the entire season, so a mutual decision has been made for Burgess to leave. Sad way to potentially end his career, this surgery isn't even about getting him to play, it's about letting him have a quality of life in the future. |

I'd say it goes to at least 28, but whether some of the "high numbers" are really part of the squad, or just academy lads on their first "promotion" is another matter.
Certainly we can see injury lists that lead to these youngsters getting games, albeit some clubs may prefer a loanee with more experience. If there are no injuries sometimes the SL youngsters get sent out to Championship clubs.
Toronto ran on a small squad without any back up as above and I feel suffered somewhat as a result, and I wonder if they could have actually finished the season. had the owner not pulled the plug... |
