Bingo just the reaction I expected, he threw it at the crowd not into the crowd then celebrated his glory, why defend the player ? is it not against RL policy or rules to commit such an offence ? or is it ok because it's us ?

74221_1438199174.png WANTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE SUSPICIOUS DEATH OF A RUGBY LEAGUE CLUB

| Round 1 attendances:
Super 8's
Leeds - 13,118 (15,921)
Wigan - 11,448 (13,981)
Catalan - 7,392 (8,925)
Castleford - 6,760 (7,46icon_cool.gif
All 4 Ties delivered lower than average attendances for the season by 7,577.....it would seem not every second counts in Superleague.
Middle 8's
Salford - 3,400 (4,167)
Bradford - 6,032 (5,222)
Leigh - 4,454 (3,787)
Halifax - 3,022 (1,973)
Great effort from the fans of the Championship sides here, with 2,526 more fans in attendance than bothered with in the regular season. Salford back up the trend set by the SL sides with another pitiful crowd 700 or so below their seasons average if the nicely rounded figure of 3,400 is to be believed.
Releg8's
London - 350 (731)
Dewsbury - 901 (1,462)
Featherstone - 1,107 (2,241)
Workington - 864. (805)
2,197 fewer fans than the average for the season attended this first week of the race to be crowned the 17th best side in Europe, with only the good folk of Cumbria turning out in better than average numbers.

As long as you're happy...but it is a thread about crowds!
The points you got might count for nothing when Koucash gets fed up of flogging a dead donkey.
Plastic club.

He threw one ball at the whole crowd?! Was it a really big ball that got everyone in one go, or did he keep retrieving it and throwing it at the heads of each Salford fan one by one until he'd 'incited' them all?

Wonder if he thought he was playing dodgeball? If a Salford fan had've caught it, it would mean he was out and another Salford fan would be back in play.

players should take some care i agree, but to more or less sweep crowd disturbances under the carpet because of a players actions is ridiculous, Miller didn't tell the salford fans to throw stuff at him, just like when it happened vs us,
if you go to a sports game where emotions run high, emotional players celebrate a bit too much for your liking then you really shouldn't be putting yourself through this.
ATEOTD, the people in the stands are responsible for their actions not the players on the field, i would have thought there was enough sticks to poke Salford with lately without the fans having to make an ever bigger target for their circus club to ridiculed and put down even more.

ban every kicker and every player who throws a ball away after they've scored because a few braindead Salford fans can't handle themselves in public!

Spot on. As you said it's the fans who are responsible for their own behaviour. It'd be like condoning throwing things at a ref just because he made some poor decisions.
I don't understand people who get THAT wound up at games. Don't get me wrong I love live RL games, my friends always say the rest of the week I'm a boring sod but on a Friday night at the rugby I suddenly come alive, but I simply don't get how people can get so worked up to the point of invading the pitch (either to celebrate or have a go), fighting, throwing things etc.
I simply don't understand how fully grown adults can act like that just because of what happens in a game.
