| There were two young Kiwi guys sat in front of me who made it unpleasant for everybody around them during this game. They didn't have any horns but were tanked up.

| Quote: mikej "Banning horns............easy. All the club has got to do is introduce a ground regulation. IIRC those cannister type airhorns are banned at the HJ (and most other grounds). The stadium is private property and so the club that owns it can bring in any rule they want.
Alcohol.........you dont need to ban this, just kick out the idiot who have too much. Regarding people being "tanked up" before getting to the ground, the main issue here is that outside the ground its the job of the police...and they just want the problem contained inside.'"
Its not always about being drunk. Its constantly standing to let these people out of your row to go to the bar then the toilet. One near me waited until nz were five metres out...really?

I was in E333! That group had "West Leeds ARLFC" tops on, absoulutely disgraceful, stood up through most of the game, falling over eachother, swearing in front of kids. At one point one of the group asked his kid to pour lager down his air horn so he could "kneck it". Cringeworthy.

This is what annoys me. Thankfully for the final I was in a group of about 15-20 of sat on the same row and no one was drinking so we didn't have a problem with it. At Cardiff for the opener, I was on the end of a row and had the misfortune of having almost every single person wanting to get out to get drinks or go to the toilet multiple times. I lost count after it happened about 20 times and that was probably before the second game had even started.

Sadly typical of the behaviour seen at amateur club games, so not surprised its been transferred to Old Trafford.

Sad news this isn't the same group! So there's more idiots. Seriously think banning alcohol is the answer, or at least closing outlets at the end of half time.

I don't think banning alcohol is the answer, I was in the pub shortly after 10 on Saturday morning and whilst I only had one drink in the ground before kick off, the week before I was in hospitality so did have a fair few during the double header. These days the rugby is my day/night out but I think I can safely say I have never been in a state where I have affected the enjoyment others have of the game. Merry and a bit loud yes but that is about it. Sadly some people just don't know how to handle their ale.

Seriously p****s me off this does. Two idiots sat beside me at the England game in Hull were constantly getting up, going to the bar, coming back, having a drink, getting up to go the toilet, coming back, getting up to go the bar and so on. They must have only seen about 20 minutes worth of the game.

Probably the same answer as "can people really not go 80 minutes without smoking" especially when you go in the toilets and smell someone having a cig in there.

Just reminded me of a lad who started talking to me in the loos at half time during the SL Grand Final. He asked me who was winning, what was the score, then told me he had "heard a rumour Joel Monaghan went off" before going on about what a huge wire fan he was.

| The concession owner/venue make vast amounts from beer sales. There is more chance of hell freezing over than alcohol being banned.

It would be a backwards step, loads of people I speak to who aren't from a rugby league background think it is great that you can have a drink whilst watching the game.

As another poster has said then, non alcohol sections of the stadium.

Plenty of them in Rugby League at the moment.
