We have no right to be complaining about the refereeing given the terrible/bent Ian Smith decision disallowing Australia's 2nd try, JJB's knock-on given as a penalty giving us position for our try, and a Tomkins knock-on under another bomb ruled as a Boyd knock-on under our posts.

Is it just me that thinks the foul play was the knee to the face rather than Thurston's high shot? That's the reason it was a penalty try IMO.

I wouldn't disagree, but the Thurston 'tackle' is an odd one.....He showed no intention to go for anything else but Hall's head....It was a definite 10 minutes and a ref with balls could easily have been within his rights to show a red.
