| Quote The Wizard="The Wizard"Of course. However speaking to the coach of Saints u15 Development squad. The two are really showing signs of class and at 15 they're developing very nicely.
There will be a fight for kicking duties as both can kick from anywhere. Dougie kicks for Rylands and Fozzy kicks for West Bank. Might try and get to a few games see what they're like for myself.'"
There are tonnes of young players around who are great kickers so that does not impress me. At that age the most important attributes are desire and passion and hard working, that will convince me that they can become a great player when they get older. There have been so many players who are highly rated even up to the age of 20 and then flopped. Goulding was rated as the next great GB centre but has never really impressed in the Wigan first team, lets hope next season is different.

This season not too many as he started poorly he has also been injured but over the last few years since 2007 some would say he has had his fair share and should go.

Well if you diont want him i'm sure cas would be willing to take a young hungry centre with a good try scoring rate. Do you not think it may have been team tacticts holding him back at wigan considering how well he did at salford?

Salford fans would love to see Goulding back. The right club and the right amount of responsibility seemed to do him the world of good. If you don't want him, we'll have him.
On another note, Jordan Turner has shown some sheer class in his time at Salford, just not consistently. Shame he left as I thought he was one for the future. Good luck to the guy though, and hopefully he can produce the goods for England/GB one day.

If we got into a bidding war I don't think Salford would come out on top. Although if I take the Jackpot on this weekends Euro-millions I'll stump up the transfer fee.

Your spot on with that so he might be better under the new coaching team. I hope he makes himself a success but with Carmont here for even longer and Gleeson here for another few years he will not be starting for quite a while. He is competing with Karl Pryce who could improve also if he gets fit. By the time he has a chance of being the starting centre Thornley will also be in with a shout. I can personally see him going to Hudds, Cas, Wakey... and making a good career.

Can not understand what wigan are playing at, Carmont is not bad but defo not a super star and for a club of Wigan size giving him a 3 years deal i find this very strange i would rather have goulding learning is trade.

| I dont know if anyone has mentioned Shaun Lunt ( although he played towards the end of last season i really expect him to be pushing for honours this year.
A genuine star of the future.
Elliott Hodgson and Alex Brown both have potential and may come on as well but they might end up going on loan to NL1

Good job we have not given him 3 years then, and he has been one of the top 3 centres in super league over the last 2 years.

True but he's been a super player for us and is one of the best centres in superleague.
The clubs will always go for the short term fixes when the incentives to bring through young players aren't huge and people demand success instantly.
I'm just happy that Wigan are trying to time his departure just right by only giving him a years deal with a years option so they can take a look at the progress made by the likes of Pryce, Goulding, Thornley or Marsh who are all candidates to replace him in the long term. These lads are all British and all have potential.
