so what im reading into is

We have to create boring monotonous wrestling rugby in the hope that a scrum half and stand-off can unlock a defence, which they were doing fine with when we had quick taps and play of the ball which was actually exciting for the fans and especially the neutrals, turning our game more into the b'stard child of Rugby union to compete with Australia who we play every blue moon. Most people don't care about internationals seeing as we only have 2 and a half decent international teams.

F--- the purists and the morally superior i want fast running, high scoring rugby that punishes the slow witted and defencively inferior teams.

Im not interested in how the Aussies play
They are better than us and always will be at rugby so lets stop trying to follow them and get on with our own game.
I support Warrington so why do i want rugby that doesn't benefit the domestic game.

i don't care what people say i like my rugby fast and hard not slow and regimented.

no what you are saying is i dont understand how RL is played and i just want players to run the ball.

my attitude is why RL in england is always behind australia.

anybody that thinks RL is mainly about attack is ignorant.

any RL side can attack the ball.

its the good sides that can do the more important bits.

It is clear, you can't. The difference is that referees are allowing defenders time to clear the ruck not time to lie on.

Well, its not that clear is it?
Everyone is getting away with it time and time again.

After the last few years, Ive pretty much lost interest in the international games.
This idea of copying the OZ rules I think is a waste of time.
I prefered our domestic game.
Why not stick to what we know, and work around the things we do well.

I hope in the next few years, as youth develpment improves throughout the SL we will start to compete.
IMO that has always been the biggest problem. Not enough top class players to choose from.

It is pretty clear to me. The penalties I've seen given for laying on this season have all been clear cut examples of defenders messing about. In previous seasons it was a lottery resulting in messy play the balls as defenders desperately scrambled to avoid being penalised.

Because we want to be better. To improve skills of players to make the game a better spectacle. To encourage creativity in attacking play.

Have you lost interest in International games because we are clearly getting further behind the top 2 in the world?

Personally I think the SL was getting ridiculous with the penalties for lying on, defenders were not given anytime to clear the ruck, hopefully the interpretation is changing for the better

I think the SL is ridiculous now, everthing is slowmo.

Clearing the Ruck to play the ball....is slow
Arranging and feeding the scrum.....is slow
Having to kick out from the tryline...is slow
Referees making a discision........... is slow

In fact I think the price to see the game should be based on the time the ball is in "active" play. Are we never going to see fast open rugby again.

Can anyone deny that the lying on in the tackle was at another level last night - saints-wigan

It is plain to see that obvious infringments are just getting let go.
Maybe it was just a p£$% poor night for the refs, the amount of forward passes that where missed etc..

Holding down at the PTB is nothing new in super league but the refs used to blow up for it.

During the saints and Wigan game last night was typical brian noble tactics.

He did it at the bulls and now as got the pies doing it. Another noble trick he has brought to the Wigan game is stealing yards before playing the ball.

Now he is bringing in the negative tatic of kicking the ball dead to get his defence set.

Noble is one of the reasons our game is getting slower.

Its not only nobby though, Leeds, Huddersfield, Catalans do it on a regular basis. Wigoons were kicking to the dead ball line that often last night it had a flavour of rugby union about it.

McRae (Salford) mentioned it on the radio that they were kicked to death by Brough + Drew.

Wigoons were stealing lots of yards at the play the ball but the referee didn't sting the defense for offside.

There's lots of negatives in the game at the moment, which seem to effect the more skillful sides more.

noble started the slowing the play ball down and stealing yards at the play the ball at the bulls.

Even though kicking the ball dead ain't against the rules it's pretty poor a team like Wigan in a saints-Wigan derby would play so negative.
