Looks like I’m not going to have a peaceful weekend if I end up staying with Union Fans!

I have been informed by my local ticket office (Huddersfield Giants) that our allocation is in Block 20 in the West stand and I am pretty annoyed to be honest. A group of us are travelling to Edinburgh and staying Friday to Monday - season ticket holders of different clubs. In order for us to take advantage of the reduced ticket price I have been informed by the Giants that we have to book through the club and the allocated reserve seats in Block 20 are the only ones we can take as Giants season ticket holders. This means that to take advantage of 1/2 price tickets (and who wouldn't want to as the weekend is expensive anough as it is) we all sit apart in our allocated club blocks some with better views than others. I have not seen anywhere in the Magic Weekend blurb where this is pointed out. The East stand is practically on the pitch, the West stand has a blooming great track in front of it and the view from the upper tier is rubbish. I am really annoyed and thinking about contacting the RFL for a moan.

I think you have a good point. I've no problem with blocks being primarily associated with clubs, but surely they should also cater for people like yourself. This year, for the first time, every club is included on the 50% discount - so really you should be able to hand in any season ticket voucher at any club. It's not like we have to have absolute segregation in RL.

Also, Block 20 you say - that's the same one as Salford!

Is it all reserved this year? One of the things I liked about Millennium Stadium was that we could move and sit with other fans and support that team if we wanted. Would be a shame if we couldn't do that this year.

Just seen the diagram now. All of East and West reserved. Shame. I think they should have had the upper tier reserved and left the bottom tier unreserved like in Cardiff (middle-tier reserved and the rest unreserved).

I'm told Warrington have East Stand blocks 14 and 16.

i have booked through the rfl this time as i didnt want to be on the side where running track is and got given block 14

it wont be sold out, so I guess you can just move around to an emptier section and sit together.

you do make some good points about the stadium though - it is a disgrace for viewing, whereever you end up sitting.

Interesting - Block 14 is also Bradford's only block!

Just to follow up on my previous comments - I contacted the RFL and was able to book seats in the East stand in block 8 on the Saturday and Block 10 on the Sunday all for the half price offer - I suppose if you don't ask you don't get!

When Wigan v Harlequins was on via thered button last year (Sky was showing France v England test) you couldn't Sky+ it. Nothing technically to stop sky from making it available because they do it for Champions League football. Would suggest you'd need to badger them into doing it.

That as well. Looking at the listings there seem to be no replays of any of the matches so your a bit stuffed in terms of recording it if they don't make it available to record on Sky+.

With the Great Edinburgh run on the same weekend then surely the amount of hotel rooms will decrease massively and cause public transport to be at a stand still?

Got 2 Hostels Booked both just off Princes Street. Only using one though now so if anyone is wanting to run a trip but struggling for accomodation you can take this Hostel from me just want the deposit back.
