My brother in-law received this in an e-mail last week and forwarded it to me:

So we're still no closer to finding out who's going to broadcast over here! Only 17 days until the start of the new season as well....

It's better if they get it rather than nobody. I hope they get it as i've already got ESPN, Virgin give you ESPN for free if you get XL package. Who are you with Sky? |

I plus all the games and watch them when i want without adverts, best show more than one a week though

Yeah got sky. I live in Hull, so can't get Virgin. 20 years behind everyone else here, no fibre optics, kingston comms control the internet/phone market. So pretty cr@p to be honest  |

I find it amazing that neither Sky or ESPN (or any other broadcaster for that matter) are seemingly uninterested in showing what is arguably the best club sport in the world - maybe the NRL are asking an astronomical figure? I don't know - I will be seriously pi$$ed off if we don't have any NRL on our screens in 2010

I'd be surprised but guess it does depend on what the NRL are charging. Wouldn;t have thought it would be huge $'s as there is value in the NRL clubs attracting sponsors by having an International audience.
