Explain how a player can have both feet planted in his own 40 to catch the ball from the kick off and get penalised for the ball apparently not going 10, yet if a player jumps from the field of play to his in goal, it’s not a tap 20, it’s a drop out. So much wrong with the rules of the game and the way they’re being applied by coaches/players/refs.

That is probably the worst refereeing performance in one hundred and twenty four (124) years of rugby league.

This pathetic excuse for a referee and a disgraceful video referee disallowed a legitimate Catalans try and then the pathetic excuse for a referee penalised a player who took the kick off with his feet still on the forty (40) yards line.

Not sure they were robbed, even if the try had been given, it would have level with a tough kick and 4 mins left, anything could have happened, as we saw.

Catalans should have a had a man sent off and got the majority of the penalties.

Btw Catalans also had three very good players missing: David Mead, Kenneth Edwards, and Michael McIlorum.

However this was not the reason Catalans lost. They lost because of disgracefully incompetent referees.
