I am and have been a Salford fan for 50 years. This is shocking and there is no excuse. I really don't think that these are true Salford fans, none of them are wearing Salford colours. I hope that the culprits are found and banned from our game forever.

There has always been an hooligan element associated with the Salford Club, I stopped travelling to the old ground around 8 years ago when locals started throwing half house bricks into the away fans section. Also if locals recognised your car as an away fan one they would smash the car windows in.

If you want to selectively take action on comments on the Daily Fail, rugby ( both codes would be banned), anyone not having a white British heritage to 1066 would be deported, Trade Unions would be illegal, Scotland would be independent, the UK should provide NHS to the world at our expense, the channel tunnel should be blown up.... I could go on.

Precisely - the article could more accurately be headlined 'Working Class People Are Vile' - that's the agenda of the Daily Mail.

Nonetheless, it's disgraceful behaviour in any context; that kind of carry-on at any public event is low, and is exactly what prevents people from taking their families to such things. The culprits are clearly identifiable - so should be facing criminal charges, and I guess Salford will have to face some sanction, as other clubs have, to encourage them to take appropriate action.

Looking at a video on the MEN there are grandchildren somewhere who should be ashamed! These people should be identified and never set foot in anything RL related for rest of their miserable life! If CPS can get a prosecution even better! Really is NO excuse and it is upsetting to see that these thugs ( unable to hold their ale) are cropping up at more and more clubs.
