| Marwan will have to carry it through on his own if it's to happen. Worryingly, I think this would still apply even if he'd come up with a much better idea.

| I think it's a daft idea that only devalues SL and RL as a whole.
I also think it's unworkable.
I'd far rather any money that would be put into this were put into RL in this country, even if that's just Koukash's own money going purely into Salford.

| Gary Hetherington slaughtered the idea on Radio Leeds last night (Tues). No love lost there.

That would be my preference as well, but its not going to happen anytime soon.
If someone is prepared to throw millions around on nrl franchises then at the moment helping France out sound like a better idea to me

| He's just been on North West Tonight. We may not all agree with everything he comes out with but you can't knock his comittment.
"Rugby League is the greatest of sports and I'm absolutely honoured to own a club".
A few more like him please.

| He was on Radio 5 this morning, and kept reminding Nicky Campbell 'there's only one rugby'.
Love the man's enthusiasm, even if I don't always agree with him.

| Quote: JEAN CAPDOUZE "He at least tries to think outside the box, even if his ideas are flawed, as I have shown above. Compare with Nigel Wood, who can't even think inside the box!
When I read these Aussie papers, when they talk about KouKash they refer to him as a billionaire, this one says he's worth $3b but last years Times rich list had him with $900m, which is about £590m. He must have made some right cash this last year in that case. cash

| He thinks that Titans aren't ever going to get decent crowds playing on the Gold Coast so they should move to Brisbane to create a Brisbane derby. He could move Salford to say, Toulouse to create a french SL derby maybe ?

| I was reading a couple of weeks ago about Stevie G's move to play footy in America.
Apparently, they too have a salary cap, but are allowed to sign two marquee players who are 'off-cap', which is what Stevie G will be (and Becks was too).
I think this would be the most sensible move SL could make.

Except we now have the pretence, sorry opportunity, for championship teams to gain promotion by playing superdooperleague teams. With a massive cap difference it's already almost impossible imo, stick an additional two marquee players and you probably render the middle 8s pointless.
Or keep tinkering with the cap then do the super 8s over one weekend in Hull where championship teams get to lose by 60pts. Call it craven carnage. Make a day of it.

| Prediction
If one team gets promoted this year, those who are close minded to the system will call it luck.
If any other number 0, 2,3,4 teams get promoted those same people will call it a failure or a joke.
