The question from the lady journalist on the programme about the suitability of some of his players to the CEO of Brisbane was a very poignant moment in the programme - the CEO basically condoned their behaviour - seems if you are a star player you can treat women in whatever way you want and it is OK

If my sex life was splashed all over the national papers and it mentioned where I worked - I would be deemed to be damaging the reputation of my company - and contractually they would be within their rights to terminate my contract and my company would not hesitate in using it.

The company - Channel 9? has a reputation to protect - employing the likes of Johns after this would damage its reputation and potential revenue streams - simple really.
